Ferruccio's death

The lithograph – dedicated to the “Great Italian G. Garibaldi" – is by Roberto Focosi, a renowned painter and engraver from Lombardy, who worked in the first half of the nineteent century. Its subject is the same as in the painting “Morte di Francesco Ferruccio a Gavinana” by Sebastiano De Albertis dated 1852; there is a second version of the same subject at the Museo Ferrucciano, in colour, published by Vallecchi from Florence.
