Model of the battle of Gavinana

This model, built with European funding, contains almost 13,000 soldier statuettes, 15-millimeter tall. on a large surface of 9 square metres, a reconstruction of the battle is suggested - based on the sources available - visually showing how Ferrucci's forces were surprised in marching order by imperial forces. The model was restored in 2011 by Elisabetta Rosati and Tano Giuffrida, with a contribution from the Rotary Club Michelangelo in Florence.
