Riding sword

This beautiful riding sword, attributed to an Italian workship, was found in the nineteenth century in Gavinana, during farming work. The weapon, although highly oxydated, is practically intact in all its parts: resistant and with basic shapes, suitable for both stabbing and cutting, in terms of size and shape it can be dated to the early years of second quarter of the sixteenth century - the same period as the battle.
